Volkswagen appoints dealer in Chennai

Volkswagen, Europe’s leading car manufacturer, has inaugurated its third dealership at Mount Road in Chennai. This makes it a total of 71 dealerships in 57 cities across the country. In tandem with the inauguration Volkswagen unveiled the “All-new Passat ‘’with the highly innovative ‘’BlueMotion Technologies’’ as well as its first action model for India, Vento ‘’IPL Edition’’ here in Chennai. The Indian arm of the German carmaker would also be launching a new variant of luxury sedan Jetta in the second-half of this year. Speaking on the occasion, Neeraj Garg, Member of Board and Director Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. Ltd., highlighted,“It is an extremely special day for us as we unveil two of our latest and most exciting products here in the city of Chennai. We are confident that our customers will enjoy driving the latest.” He added “It also gives me immense pleasure to inaugurate our third dealership here in Chennai today. Our partnership with Volkswagen Mount Road comes at a time when we have just introduced two new exciting products and are confident of providing the Volkswagen driving experience to more people here in Chennai.” He also maintained, " We had received bookings for 100 units of Passat from across the country. We will now be launhing an all-new Jetta by the second half of this calendar year."
